Q4 2023 lettings across St Bride’s existing Partnerships

St Bride’s Managers are pleased to announce three new lettings in the Key Cities and White Rose portfolios. The new tenants are as follows:

  • Venatu Recruitment Group – The multi-sector recruitment specialists have taken a new 5-year lease at Unit 5, Sidings Court, Doncaster (White Rose). This letting means that all the offices at Sidings Court are now fully let.

  • Intrax Group UK Ltd (T/A Intravelr) – The travel planning group have taken a new 3-year straight lease on the 1st Floor at Fairbairn Building, Sackville Street, Manchester (Key Cities).

  • DG Net Ltd – The IT and network system providers have taken a new 5-year straight lease on the 1st Floor (South) at 24-28 Frederick Street, Edinburgh (Key Cities). This letting is in addition to the letting of the 1st Floor (North) suite in Q2 2023.

Many thanks to agents Cushman & Wakefield, Edwards & Co, Barnsdales and Commercial Property Partners who acted for St Bride’s Managers on the various lettings.

Rob Houston, MBE

We are delighted to share the news that St Bride’s Managers’ chairman and founding partner, Robert Houston, received his award as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) from The Princess Royal on Wednesday afternoon. His award was for services to people with disabilities and to disadvantaged communities through sport and was announced in the King’s Birthday Honours List in June.

Robert is also chair of trustees and founder of Boost Charitable Trust which provides funding and support for inspiring sports programmes. Since its inception, Boost has awarded grants in excess of £2.5m and has engaged with 71 different sports.

Many congratulations for this truly deserved award and recognition.

2023 St Bride's vs Boost Charitable Trust Golf Day

Thursday 5th October marked the 8th edition of the annual St Bride’s vs Boost Charitable Trust golf day at Burhill Golf Club. Once again, the day was a resounding success with the weather playing ball and Boost ended up retaining the ‘Sam Sananes Trophy’ with a comprehensive 16 ½ - 13 ½ victory. We’d like to extend our thanks to Burhill Golf Club for their hospitality and everyone who came and made the day so enjoyable.

The day raised yet more vital funds for Boost, a grant-giving charity with a mission to provide impactful funding and support for inspiring programmes which help improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled through the power of sport.

We look forward to next year when hopefully St Bride’s can regain the trophy and avoid a Boost ‘Three-peat’!

Key Cities - New Letting at 26 Frederick Street, Edinburgh

St Bride’s Managers are delighted to have let a first-floor suite (2,802 sq. ft.) at 26 Frederick Street to California-based firm Avicena Tech.  The technology company develops ultra-low energy optical links which it hopes will be a key building block in the evolution of new networking and computing architectures and, ultimately, reduce the energy impact on our planet.  This letting concluded shortly after the office was furnished to provide a fully “plug and play” solution and demonstrates the importance of delivering the right office product in a shifting market.

Many thanks to our letting agent, Cushman and Wakefield, for advising on the refurbishment and securing the letting.

Key Cities - New Letting at 25 King Street, Bristol

St Bride’s are delighted to welcome South-West based, Chartered Accountants, Albert Goodman LLP to 25 King Street.  Albert Goodman, who have recently been awarded the title of “Best Accountancy Firm to work for in the UK” have taken a five-year lease of the fifth floor (2,258 sq.ft.).  The new letting shows the continued upward trajectory of the Bristol office market and comes off the back of two lettings in the building last year.

Many thanks to our joint agents Hartnell Taylor Cook and CBRE for securing another successful letting.

London Landmarks Half Marathon Success

Massive congratulations to all the Team Landmark runners who completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday morning. A fantastic effort by Ian Houston, Fiona Houston, Matt Clare, Cas Sananes, Becki Williamson, James Williamson, Caroline Dunn, Andrew Greer and Will Heywood. In excess of £11,700 has been raised so far for Boost Charitable Trust.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored the team and to London Landmarks Half Marathon Limited for organising another brilliant event. We’re looking forward to next year’s race already!

White Rose - New Letting at Hallamshire Court, Sheffield

We are delighted to announce the recent letting of Ash House at Hallamshire Court in Sheffield, where Endpoint E-Sports have signed a new, long-term lease. Ash House comprises 4,400 sq. ft. of office space and was extensively refurbished last year. The letting sees Hallamshire Court return to being 100% let, which is testament to this edge-of-city office park and provides further evidence that office occupational demand does still exist!

A big thank you to CPP for their help in letting the property, Trident Building Consultancy for managing the extensive refurbishment and TJ Elsdon Construction for carrying out the first-class refurbishment.

Key Cities - New Letting at College Trade Park, Leeds

St Bride’s are pleased to announce the letting of Unit 5 at College Trade Park, Leeds, to General All Purpose Plastics (GAP) – manufacturing and distributing high-quality PVC-U Products. Unit 5 comprises 5,100 sq/ft of Prime Trade Counter space and has been let to GAP on a 10-year lease at a passing rent of £12 per sq/ft.

The letting means College Trade Park (78,836 sq/ft) remains fully occupied and it’s reassuring to see occupational markets remain strong despite the recent turbulence in the capital markets.

2022 St Bride's vs Boost Charitable Trust Golf Day

Congratulations to Boost Charitable Trust for winning back the 'Sam Sananes Trophy' yesterday, with a narrow 15 ½ / 14 ½ victory at the annual St Bride’s vs Boost Golf Day. Once again, the day was a resounding success and we’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who played, Burhill Golf Club for hosting us and the weather for being so glorious!

The day raised yet more vital funds for Boost, a grant-giving charity with a mission to champion the disadvantaged and disabled and to inspire them to overcome their challenges through the power of sport. Please click here for Boost’s latest Annual Review.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s match, when hopefully the St Bride’s team will bring the trophy back to HQ.
